Dr. Burns celebrated his 40th birthday in style on September 15th and wished to share pictures of the momentous occasion - Dr. Burns, staff and patients all enjoyed a great day full of fun!

The 2011 Wilmington ALS walk was a huge success!  With a goal of $85,000, our 2011 Wilmington Walk to Defeat ALS has raised $136,048.36!!!!! Literally, donations are still coming in online and teams have already done an amazing job reaching out on their Facebook pages and through their participant centers to let people know there is still time to fundraise!  Pictured at left are two of our patients the day of the walk.  (left, Charlie Lipari - team Charlie's Angels; right, Laken Flanders, whose senior project at Laney High School involves raising awareness and funds for ALS)
